 Beside the Children's Grave, Zbylitowska Góra, Poland. Students in Year 12 and 13 Yavneh have just returned from a journey to Poland led by Mr. Leventhall and Rabbi Ari Silberman, learning of the challenges and experiences of Jews in Europe during the Shoah. Whilst in Poland they have reflected on their journey through a unique Photography Reflections Project with Mr. Leventhall, Head of History. "Student photographic and written reflections provide a unique insight into their perception and empathy of a challenging subject, and revealing hidden depths and pride in their Jewish and community identities." This is the fifth year students have participated in this project. Their responses can be viewed online in the document attached and in the main school foyer exhibition area. Well done all.
