And B'H what a shabbos it was! YB hosted an extraordinary shabbaton in the serene countryside of Cumbria. From the very start, the atmosphere was full of excitement as students and staff embarked on a weekend of achdus and inspiration.
The Shabbaton began with a suprise staff cholent competition, with staff competing to make the besy cholent! Friday night's melody filled Kabbolas Shabbos, and seuda following that, was a beautiful celebration, with heartfelt davening, inspiring divrei Torah, and engaging discussions during the fascinating Q&A panel later in the evening. On Shabbos morning the boys participated in a lively Parsha quiz with fabulous prizes, and following that enjoyed a delicious Kiddush and lunch. The highlight of Motzei Shabbos was the Havdalah around a bonfire in the woods, where the flickering flames illuminated faces filled with inspiration and togetherness. The singing that followed echoed through the trees, strengthening bonds among all who gathered. Year groups united and the ruach was something truly special. Later on Motzei Shabbos, boys had the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities, including games and a FIFA tournament! The evening concluded with a delicious Melave Malka, providing a fitting end to a shabbaton filled with unity, inspiration. Thank you to all the dedicated staff and their families who contributed hugely to the success of this wonderful Shabbaton!
